Call for new members of the Editorial Board for the European Stroke Journal (ESJ)

We are happy to report that the European Stroke Journal, the scientific journal of the ESO, is developing very well: the number of submitted manuscripts is growing, ESJ is now in Web of Science and in Scopus, and is awaiting full PubMed approval. We hope you are all pleased with the high quality content.

The editorial team for the European Stroke Journal invites members of ESO to nominate persons to serve on the Editorial Board of the journal. Up to six new members will be added to the board during 2019. Nominees can come from any country/region in the world, but should be members of ESO. The selection of new board members will be done by the ESJ editorial team, and will take regional as well as gender balance factors into account. The new board members will be announced during the ESOC in Milano, May 2019.

Nominees should be stroke scientists, willing to review up to 10 manuscripts annually, and willing to actively support the promotion and growth of the journal.

Nominations for the board should be sent to bo.norrving(at)med.lu.se before April 10th, 18:00 CET. Persons may be nominated by an ESO member, or by self nomination.

The nomination document should be a pdf of maximum 2 pages, that should include name, contact details, academic merits and current position, brief CV (up to 200 words), orchid-ID, Web of Science or Scopus metrics, fields of interest (up to 5 topics), and a statement/motivation section (up to 200 words).

We are looking forward to your nominations.
