ESJ Visual Abstracts Vote
Over the past year, the European Stroke Journal (ESJ) has continued to publish visual abstracts alongside its articles. Accompanying the articles, these visual summaries are crafted to convey the most important findings at a glance — helping readers quickly decide what to dive into.
Members of the ESO Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers Committee (YSPR) work with the authors and our medical illustrator to develop these visuals. We have received positive feedback on the visual abstracts published this year and would now like to identify the Top 3 through a community vote.
The YSPR has made a preselction of abstractsabstracts published in the ESJ over the past year. We invite all ESJ readers and ESO members to take part in the voting. Browse the 13 abstracts, rate each one from 0 (poor) to 5 (excellent), and help us pick the winner. Feel free to share the link with colleagues.
The winning visual abstract will be announced at ESOC 2026 in Maastricht.
We look forward to seeing you there!
