5th ESO Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers (YSPR) Workshop at ESOC 2018

Do you have an idea and need help finalising your protocol? Or an ongoing project and want confirmation that it is going in successful direction?

We will host the 5th ESO Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers (YSPR) Workshop at the upcoming ESO Conference (ESOC), 16-18th May 2018. The workshop is a primer for young stroke physicians and scientists to share their projects at a well-attended session.

Four abstracts will be selected for presentation based on the clarity of the suggested aims and the potential impact of the results. Constructive feedback from mentors will lead to discussion and guide you for further improvement in study design and -concept. Each mentor will provide a short talk on relevant topics providing guidance in setting up and successfully completing both preclinical and clinical studies, in addition to giving feedback on the four study protocols. Last year, we had the honor to  have the support of Prof Angel Chamoro (University of Barcelona) and Prof Tudor Jovin (University of Pittsburgh).

We therefore strongly encourage young stroke physicians and researchrs to submit their abstract, for both clinical as basic research topics. The author of the top scoring abstract will receive a place at the school ESO Summer School in Berlin, Germany, Sept 11 – 15, 2018. All presenters will be interviewed by other Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers and the interviews will be featured on the ESO blog.
