Event Description
To acquaint greek physicians involved in stroke management with all recent advances in the fields of stroke prevention, treatment & rehabilitation.
Invited speakers include eminent ESO members (Prof M. Dichgans-Germany, Prof E.Sandset-Norway, Prof G. Turc-France), Prof A.Shoamanesh-Canada and international stroke specialists of Greek origin (Prof V.Lioutasand Dr. A. Charidimou-USA, Prof m.Psychogios-Switzerland, Prof C. Krogias and Dr M.Georgakis-Germany).
Target Participants
The meeting is open to all specialties (physicians, students, nurses) involved in the management of stroke patients. The faculty of the event is multidisciplinary (vascular neurologists, interventional neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, internists, rehabilitation physicians, nurses and paramedics). There are joint sessions with the Hellenic Society of Interventional Radiology, the Hellenic Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and the Hellenic Society of Neurosurgery.
