Are you an aspiring stroke researcher? Do you want to answer an important research question with the potential of improving the care of patients with stroke? Do you want to work with leaders in the field and other like-minded healthcare professionals and scientists in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities?

Applications are open for the 7th ESO Edinburgh Stroke Research Workshop, February 24th-26th February 2020. Further details about this 3-day workshop can be found here:

I attended this course in 2016, at a time when I was considering applying for a PhD fellowship. I came away with a realistic perspective on the challenges ahead of me, and new knowledge and practical skills to tackle these head on. It was also an opportunity to establish a support network that is crucial to success. I thoroughly recommend this workshop to all aspiring stroke researchers looking to develop their bright idea into a novel, clinically relevant and well-designed proposal that is attractive to major funding bodies.
