WELCOME TO ESOC 2024
Looking back to ESOC 2023 we would like to thank you all for visiting Munich and your active participation in making the conference a success. It is through the contribution of all attendees that we can make this international meeting an interesting place to present, interact and strengthen our collaborations. The hands-on session returned in the programme as we had a full onsite meeting as well as the poster sessions with lively discussions.
We are already looking forward towards ESOC 2024 in Basel, Switzerland. The various committees are actively preparing the various sessions in order to create a stimulating programme. This will be completed by you submitting abstracts on the scientific results which are currently produced in research facilities all over the world. We warmly welcome you to Basel. The cultural capital of Switzerland is centrally located in Europe which will hopefully enable many attendees to travel by train to reduce the carbon footprint of the conference. Since ESOC 2023 we have appointed two Sustainability Ambassadors who are collating best-practice suggestions from our members. Please check our website to get an overview of the activities introduced by our ambassadors. We are planning more initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of the conference: ESOC goes green!
Hope to see you in Basel next May to again experience a great scientific meeting within the stroke community.
