This three-day meeting brings together more than 400 stroke professionals and scientists. The program is planned to cover the latest advances equally in stroke prevention, acute care, and rehabilitation. Short oral presentations and posters encourage young researchers to present their data in an informal and stimulating scientific environment. The best presentations will be awarded. A special session will inform the audience about nursing issues along the continuum of stroke. Patient support groups, stroke survivors and their caregivers are also invited to share knowledge, network, and improve life after stroke.
Targeted Participants: doctors (e.g., neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, acute neurology), basic scientists, PhD students, nurses, patient organizations and patients.
