This webinar will provide a comprehensive and practice-oriented view of this common but often challenging cerebrovascular disorder. Lina Palaiodimou (Greece) will first present interactive case presentations, where real-world examples of patients with small vessel disease will be discussed to illustrate diagnostic dilemmas, management decisions, and treatment strategies in daily clinical practice. Next, Hugh Markus (UK) will provide an in-depth look at the current understanding of cerebral small vessel disease, including advances in diagnostic tools, imaging markers, and preventive strategies. By combining case-based learning with an evidence-based update, clinicians will be equipped with both the theoretical framework and practical insights needed to improve the care of patients affected by small vessel disease. It will be followed by an interactive discussion moderated by Marieta Peycheva (Bulgaria) and Anna Bersano (Italy). This webinar is presented as a educational offering curated by the YSPR and Education Committees for members of ESO. We thank you for understanding that it is not possible to grant credits (CME or others) or provide certificates of participation for this webinar.
