All official prices are indicated in Euros (EUR). All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, and shops.

Free Public Transportation

For ESOC 2026, ESO offers the possibility to use the local train network operated by Arriva to travel to MECC Maastricht. Several train stations in the Limburg region use access gates that must be opened with a valid travel credential.

The major advantage of this option is that it allows congress delegates to travel unlimited throughout the entire South Limburg region, including Aachen (Germany).

The following Arriva train services are included:

• RS12 Sittard – Maastricht Randwyck
• RS15 Sittard – Heerlen
• RS18 Maastricht Randwyck – Heerlen – Kerkrade Centrum
• RE18 Maastricht – Heerlen – Aachen

Delegates can download the Glimble by Arriva app and gain access to public transport by entering a dedicated activation code: ESOC2026. This will provide seamless access to both buses and trains across the region for the duration of the congress.

For bus transportation by Arriva within Maastricht, delegates can continue to travel free of charge by simply showing their congress badge.

Industrial Exhibition

The industrial exhibition is located in immediate vicinity to the conference activities such as lecture halls and catering areas. Companies from all over the world are given ample opportunities to display their latest products, services, and technical innovations.

Insurance

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to conference participants, either during, or as a result of the meeting. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

Language

The conference language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
