It cove rs the main areas of neurointervention\, namely\, stroke\, aneurysm and AV M/AVF endovascular treatment.\nLearning Objectives\n\n To know the etiolo gy\, pathophysiology\, imaging diagnosis and prognostic of the most\nfrequ ent cerebrovascular diseases\n To know the present state of the art treat ment indications for cerebrovascular diseases\n To structure the decision -making process in neurovascular diseases\n To acknowledge the diverse ma terials and devices available for endovascular treatment of\ncerebrovascul ar disease\n To acquire technical skills through simulation for the endov ascular treatment of acute\nstroke\, carotid stenosis\, intracranial steno sis\, vascular malformations\, dural AV fistula\, and\ncerebral aneurysms\ n To recognise complications of endovascular treatment and practice the r esolution of\ncomplications with the simulator\n\nTarget Audience\nResiden ts in their last 2 years of residency in neuroradiology\, neurosurgery or neurology\, or specialists of neuroradiology\, neurosurgery and neurology can be accepted.
