SUMMARY:ESO Focused Workshop 2023
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the workshop is to make young stroke clinicians and 
 researchers familiar with the management of patients with unruptured intra
 cranial aneurysms and those with subarachnoid haemorrhage\, other than occ
 luding the aneurysm. We will address high risk groups for screening for in
 tracranial aneurysms and how to counsel for screening. Further\, we will d
 iscuss risk of rupture of intracranial aneurysms\, the risk of complicatio
 ns of preventive surgical or endovascular treatment and how to balance the
 se risks. Regarding patients with subarachnoid haemorrhage we will discuss
  the diagnosis\, differential diagnosis\, and how to prevent and manage co
 mplications in these patients. Finally\, we will provide insight in resear
 ch and in new developments for patients with unruptured and ruptured intra
 cranial aneurysms.\n\nThe workshop will facilitate stroke physicians to pl
 ay a role in management of these patients.\n\nFurther information can be f
