SUMMARY:Closing the Gaps in Stroke Care: A Call to Action for Europe
DESCRIPTION:On 14 October 2025\, The European Stroke Organisation (ESO) 
 and the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE) will host an event at the Euro
 pean Parliament in Brussels to highlight these systemic gaps and introduce
  the forthcoming Stroke Action Plan for Europe (SAP-E). This upcoming pla
 n will outline evidence-based\, cost-effective solutions designed to impro
 ve stroke care across Europe.\n\nThe event\, Closing the Gaps in Stroke C
 are: A Call to Action for Europe\, will bring together:\n\n 	EU and nation
 al policymakers\n 	Stroke survivors and caregivers\n 	Healthcare professio
 nals and researchers\n 	Civil society and public health partners\n\nThe sp
 eakers at the event will outline ways to provide comprehensive stroke care
  across the entire care pathway\, from prevention and emergency response t
 o rehabilitation and long-term support\, with a focus on better aligning E
 U-level initiatives and national implementation\, including through the up
 coming EU Cardiovascular Health Plan (CVH Plan).\n\nRead more about the St
